~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 190 lb, Today: 170.4 lb, Goal: 135 lb - I had a really crappy day today...I went to the Olive Garden with my sister. I brought home half of my dinner because I had already eaten 4 breadsticks, salad, and stuffed mushrooms. Then on the way home we got ice cream cones! I refer to my sister as a "diet sabotager" because all she wants to do is eat when we hang out. She tells me almost every time we go out to forget about my diet and live just that one night....I love my sister but there's a reason she's overweight. I don't wanna look like her. We look alot alike in appearance. Same hair, eyes, facial features. You can tell we are related. She had a daughter 2 years ago and people in my neighborhood always mix us up...I don't want people to think I'm her, or that I look like that. It's sad, but it is kind of what motivates me. She doesn't like that I always turn her down when she wants to hang out. There are many reasons I say no, but the fact is I don't like hanging out with her because she brings back my old eating habits...where I don't think, I just eat. I came home after and jogged on the tredmile...I still feel stuffed from dinner. Does anyone have any advice on how I can let my sister know nicely that she's not helping me and I need her support? We are going to a concert on Saturday and she will undoubtedly want to go to dinner...I just worry that sometimes I won't be able to resist with her shoving food in my face and her eating so much in front of me making me feel like I'm not eating enough...advice? Anyone?
