BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'5", Start: 285 lb, Today: 235 lb, Goal: 140 lb - I can't believe a few short months ago I was looking at myself, 50 pounds heavier, and didn't think I could change anything. I was so wrong! I still struggle with the depression everyday, thinking of how much farther I have to go and how I look. Even after 50 pounds, I can't see a difference, but everyone else can. I guess the whole distorted self-image thing is something I'll always have to deal with. But I've started a new workout plan, lots of cardio, twice a day. Drinking lots of water. And as far as a diet goes, I'm keeping it under 1500 calories a day. Eating mostly vegetarian, but also eating poultry. I feel really good right now. I haven't felt this way in months. I'm done letting my weight, and food, run my life. I will succeed, and it will be great :)
