BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'6", Start: 320 lb, Today: 320 lb, Goal: 160 lb - Where do I start? Let's see... I have always been a heavy child for as long as I can remember. I hate it. People calling names, not being able to do a lot of the things other kids do (like amusement park rides, and certain sports) and having to be disgusted every time I look in the mirror. We have a group at school called the "Wellness Club" that is suppose to talk about weight related issues, but it doesn't help. Being in the group, I feel worse because I know I am the heaviest one there. I want to change my life, one pound at a time, and be able to enjoy life to the fullest. I really hope it helps being able to talk to other overweight teens online helps, if it doesn't I don't know what else to do. I don't feel comforted talking to my mother or anyone else about my weight in person, I am afraid to talk face to face with others. Maybe losing weight can help. High hopes, and good luck to everyone.- Becky
