~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'1", Start: 196 lb, Today: 190 lb, Goal: 145 lb - Hi! I know I'm over the age to be posting on this board, but really, the over 18 page is absolutely dead and this one is constantly being posted/answered on so I wanted to join the party =D!! Anyway, I just wanted to say that I started my eating lifestyle change last Monday when I weighed 196. This whole week I have been making sure I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. So actually, I've been eating more than I normally used to when I tried to 'diet', but I've just made a couple of changes like, no eating after 6:30 pm and water is my only beverage. I was surprised as all get out when I got on the scale this morning and saw that I've lost EXACTLY 6 pounds. I know that's a lot to lose in a week and it's probably mostly water weight, but wow, I already feel like clothes fit a little better and I have more energy. I'll probably start exercising in the next week or so, combining that with my new eating habits. Any exercise recommendations?
