BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Christine, Age 16

Ht. 5'9", Start: 186 lb, Today: 186 lb, Goal: 150 lb - This year, I want to keep to 1700/1800 calories a day and have a balanced diet. So far I've eaten: Breakfast: Granola and toast (300 cal, I make the granola and it's all natural). Snack: Grapes (20 cal?). Lunch: Sandwich (turkey, tomato, mustard, whole wheat: 220 cal). Snack: coffee bread (bad, I know: 200 cal). That's 960 calories, so I have about 800 left. What sort of dinner would round that out and balance protein/carbs/etc.?
