~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 172 lb, Goal: 150 lb - Hi guys. I've been telling my mom for a while to start eating healthier and exercising because I love her (duh) and am concerend for her health and well being. Also, everytime she gets a checkup at the DR. the doc always says one thing->exercise and eat right and everything will be fine. My mom has the whole deal with high sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol. She's always tired because she works 6 days a week and has put on a lot of weigh through out the years. She would usually eat a lot at a time and then watch tv which as you know is the worst. I'd been observing her eating habits and everything and knew what she did was wrong but didnt wanna say anything because she's my mom and I didnt want her to think I was mean. I just want her to be healthy. She always said she would start exercisng and everything but never did it. She always said "TOMORROW!" which you know...should never ever be said! I told her to STOP saying that like I said it to her in a serious tone so that she knew I was concerned about her and I told her to start NOW. So she goes on the treadmill everyday and does a mile and is eating healthier. I'm so so proud of her. I'm kind of her little trainer and tell her the rights and wrongs of what she should and shouldn't do (but in a completely mother-daughter way of course) how much weight do you think she will be able to lose if she keeps at this? she works and has to take care of the house too so I'm not asking her to do anything else but the treadmill for now. She weighs around 185. Let me know how long it would take her to drop some weight if keeps doing what shes doing. Ok! this was long enough! but I'm just so gosh darn proud that she's taken the step to a healthier lifestyle =) because her health is all that matters to me.
