BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

hey guys, i'm anna. i wrote before once but it was really late at night so no one ever responded :( (it's late right now too; i guees i'm just a night owl) well, i'm 5"11 and weigh 177, and i know that thats not technically overweight according to the weight calculator but really, 24.6 when 25 is the limit isn't pushing it too much, right? I've started to eat healther, and don't drink pop anymore because it's apparently horrible for you and if you drink more water you'll lose weight faster anyway since you're not as hungry and it helps to flush out your system as well, so that wasn't too hard. i'm not too great with the food part because i don't eat meat, so alot of what would normally be meat is replaced with starches and carbs and stuff, and i know that i could be one of those impossibly healthy vegetarians who only eat veggies and fruits and like grass in place of meat, but then again, that really is impossible, if you don't have like a personal chef. i usually eat well during the day, but when i get home and my brothers have all their junk food in the fridge, thats when the trouble starts. I'll binge, then feel overwhelming guilt over it. I was bulimic for about 8 months before and still sometimes lapse, but I try, really hard. I'm not sure how to get over the nightly sort of thing I do. I would go for a run, but I get embarassed because my brothers and their friends are always in the tv room next to the room the treadmill is in, so I can't do that instead, and i try waking up early to run, but believe me, for a nocturnal person like me, waking up is not easy at all. If anyone has any suggestions, please post back. And by the way, I was reading through the board and you guys seem to really know what you're doing and are making really healthy choices, so congrats on that, its definitely not as easy as it seems, right? well, g'night for now.-anna
