Hey Laura!
Remember that you can't do too much too soon. If you've never really been a runner, just starting to run will get you nowhere. The best thing you can do for yourself is to make small and simple changes to begin with. Considering your weight, small changes will make a big difference at this point! The most effective change you can start with is drinking water! Drinking anything other than water is essentially a waste of calories...wouldn't you rather eat them? Replace sodas and fruit juices with water and you'll already see the pounds coming off.
For exercise, just walk! Walking burns calories & the heavier you are the more calories your burn. Therefore, you don't need to jump into running right away...walking will do you just fine so start out. You can start jogging after a while when you feel you're ready.
As for eating, start shoosing healthier options. Instead of eating greasy chips opt for the lightly buttered popcorn. It's a small change that makes a big difference. You can make changes like that to everything. Eventually, you can start having smaller portions and snack less frequently but for now, just making the healthier choice will make a big difference.
Just remember that every little bit counts! Everytime you pass up the fast food, drink water, walk somewhere you're contributing to your weight loss! Even though the results may not be obvious right away, it adds up & quickly. You just need to stick to it! Good luck!

I understand how you feel about your family, although they try to be supportive my mum still buys bad foods because she says it's not fair that the rest of my family should miss out just because I'm trying to lose weight, so I totally get it! Just keep trying really hard and you'll get there eventually. You've done really well already, it's certainly encouraging for me to see how much weight you've lost since you started since we are the same height and have the same starting weight. I hope that if you can do it, so can I! My favourite tip is to freeze grapes. They take a while to eat and are low calorie, tasty and sweet. They're perfect! Also works with bananas :) Good luck and keep going!
