Today: 220 lb - Ok guys no offense but you think you have a problem, I have a problem. I weight 220 pounds. I am fairly tall, but that is still really overweight. Sometimes I get so depressed I cry and think about dying. Sometimes I'm happy though. As soon as I remember about my weight I get sad again. I don't know what to do. Do you have any good ideas? Email me at KHBunny@aol.com

I know that it's really hard to go places like school and have to see all these "perfect" looking girls who look like they don't have a problem in the world. And I know what it's like to fall asleep crying at night because no matter what i did i couln't fit into that crowd. I am not going to lie to you and tell you that you're not overweight. You are. But you can't let that bring you down. No matter what anyone says to you or about you, YOU are the only one who can make yourself feel BAD or GOOD about YOU. It won't matter how much weight you lose unless you can look in the mirror with positivity about being yourself. YOUR WEIGHT IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE. I don't know you, so I can't tell you what you are but you know yourself. You know your good qualities. you know you have them. Yes. You do. Now here's my advice. First of all, work on your self esteem. Go to an adult you can trust, like your school counselor or your school nurse. Your nurse can also help you with a eating and excersize schedule. She can do this!! She will want to help you, trust me, it will be alot more fun than giving yet another heating pad to period-stricken girls. Or if this isn't an option for you, check out books on healthy eating at your public library, or find sites on the internet. If you are going to make your own regimine, please please please remember that the only way to permenent weight loss is through BOTH exersize and smart eating. hint:atkins will help in the short term but after a month of regular eating all the weight will come back. regular aerobic workout four times a week. small meals five times a day instead of three large meals. eat smart. lots of veggies and fruits(i know, i know). And don't calculate loss in terms of weight. think of it in inches. Inches are proof of long term loss; pounds can be from water weight. stay away from miracle products. The weight lost is usually water weight. And once again, more important than all this physical stuff, the most important thing is that you feel good about yourself. And when everyhing feels like it's just too hard, remember that you're doing this for the most important person you knw. Yourself.

Hey dearie. Something I learned that may help you. It helped me. You have to learn to like yourself somewhat before you can loose weight. When you love your body, you want to take care of it more and make it healthier. When you dont love it, its much easier to just give up on it. When your happy with your body, you seek to make it its healthiest and best. So good luck.
Jesus loves me this I know....

just cut down on the junk food and only drink water or diet soda. i'm sorry you feel like your problems are bigger then anyone elses- it's really just how you looks at them and if you keep believeing that then maybe they will get worse then others...
