Well, it is hard to exersize in the winter. You can do the simplist things. Leg lifts during commercials, lifting soup can if you dont have weights, and just keep moving. You can do sit ups, too. You have to make a goal that you KNOW you can reach. I will tell you about MY story. I was 5'2" and 145 lb. I made a goal to be able to fit in my old jeans by the summer. I am now 5'3" and 120. In 3 months I have lost 25 lb! Maybe start with a smaller goal, then eventually exersizing and eating healthy with become a habit! I wish you the best luck! Don't forget to have fun. Envolve your friends if you are comfortable, and find someone to talk to about how you feel. Also, stay on this site. It helped me, SO much (: Good luck!

I find tights, a pair of boots, and a longer sweater or shirt looks great. A tip for looseing weight during the winter: Do floor exercises. Like squats, lunges, zitups, reverse sit-ups, or running in place. If you can get your heart beating, when you do floor exercises you burn more fat.

you should start maybe sewing some of your own clothes so that way you can have clothes that r in fashion but they still fit you. I found some nice wool caprie pants at areopostal. they had some that were my size so you might look for clothes there :D

That's a little tricky...does it get REALLY cold in your area?
I found that sometimes wearing a pair of leggings with some warm boots were always a good choice...and top it with a flowy shirt or sweater.
As for keeping the weight down in the winter - you just need to be as active as you can & avoid overeating. Having distractions really helps.
Just remember that EVERYTHING counts! Everytime you drink water instead of juice/pop and everytime you eat vegetables instead of chips...all these things SAVE your caloric intake which helps keep the weight under control. If it's too cold outside, only go for short walks...shovel your driveway and do lots of house chores...you'll find this helps with getting some activity in your life.
Good luck :)
