Hi there :)
Okayy, so here is the thing, when I was around your age I was dealing with the EXACT same thing you are. My advice to you is this:
There is NO shame in buying a size Large or Extra Large. I'm honestly not trying to offend you, I'm telling you honestly, that it doesn't matter what the size of the clothing is, as long as it fits you the way it should.
The best thing for you to do is to buy clothing that are right for your size. You'll feel a lot more confident in yourself and you won't feel overweight anymore.
A few fashion tips as well:
Avoid skin tight clothes, but don't wear baggy clothes (find a half way point-flattering). Buttons tend to be the worst on shirts (people like me who have a large chest area have the unattractive pull around the buttons), so avoid them. In my opinion V-necks are the most flattering. Also, I tend to find that the "off the shoulder" t-shirts and sweaters are both flattering and trimming. And one more thing... if you are uncomfortable wearing shorts and stuff, find a nice pair of capri type jeans that stop around the calf area! Hope that helps.
Danielle
