Ht. 5'4", Start: 320 lb, Today: 345 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 250 lb - I never used to consider myself to be unhealthy. Yes, I am morbidly obese. But I see myself as thin, and overall am healthy. My knees started to give out in the last year, and I started having back problems. I figured these were just natural things and refused to accept that they were being caused by my massive weight. So I continued to ignore it, and gain more weight. My family is all massively obese, so nobody cares that I keep gaining. A few days ago, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I only eat fast food and drink up to 6 cans of soda a day, and have for as long as I can remember.
I am a huge emotional eater and will sometimes spend entire days sitting in front of the tv and eating thousands of calories worth of food, only stopping when I feel close to vomiting. My parents make fun of me sometimes because they always find me asleep with the food still in my hands, and because I am the fattest of all of them, but I can't help it. my doctors have said that I wont be able to walk in a few years if I keep gaining the way I have been, and I could die if I don't get control of my diabetes. I need help, so if you guys have any tips, I'd really appreciate it.

when ever you get the munchies but your not hungry chew gum or use sunflower seeds, and with the soda try to find something that you can replace it with that doesn't have a lot of calories. Because you can only lose by eating less than you lose. I also eat when im bored and when you get emotional go outside and if you cant do that than find someone or do something to motivate you to exercise Here are somethings you can do: Swim( its one of the best things that will help you lose weight), walk, keep busy so you can lose weight don't just sit in front of T.V and snack all day find something fun to do. Burn off all of those fat cells. Mow if you want something sweet there are organic Lollipops called Yummyearth organic lollipops.
there 22 calories each and they taste great you can find them online at walmart.com .

I have some slight suggestions. Nothing too major to begin with, but as far as the soda goes. I drink 4 cans a day. I feel addicted to the sugary substance. This week I cut my soda intake down to 2 cans of coke a day. I think that you should try to cut down to 4 cans for 2/3 weeks then 2 cans then eventually no longer feel the need for the product. That's how I got my self off of my addiction in the past(:
As far as the emotional eating goes I am the worst! I eat when I'm bred when I feel like it might have been awhile since something has been eaten. I have grasped control over this quite yet, but in order to lose weight gradually and not feel like your punishing yourself. Try snacking on more healthy based foods that taste good to you. Like wheat thins instead of potato chips
