I am 16 and i am 205lbs. I have a problem with eating when i get depressed and when im bored. I need help. I tried being active, it didnt work. I tried not eating, it didnt work. I even tried atkins and that didnt work. I dont know what to do but i know i am tired of being fat. Please help me.

I've been in that exact same place as u, and u must take a stand for urself. Losing weight will not happen over night. To lose weight ur heart must be in it 100%, and u must give 110%. Take things slow by trying to find a diet that is to your likeing, and when ur depressed DON'T EAT!!!!! Thats the worst thing u could do is to eat because ur depressed, what i do when i'm depressed and i feel like eating a whole bunch of junk is that i chew on some gum, it actually helps alot. I mean once u start going on a diet and stick with it, u will feel like a new person. The first week i was on a diet i lost 7 pounds, and from then on of course losing weight got harder, but that 7 pound weight loss in just that one week gave me enough will power to keep going. Once u start to lose, trust me u feel better about urself!!

i have the same problem about eating when I am depressed, so i say to myself I am going to be even more depressed if I est that. Drink water or brush your teeth whenever you get a craving. You don't need to try a specific diet, just eat healthy, small portions, exercise regualrly and try not to eat junk food or pop. Its ok to hav a treat once a week as a reward for how you did the week before.
