When they say "eating disorders are very likely to develop during depression," it's true. I've liked this guy for ages. One week, he was sending me so many signals until one day, he grabbed my hand while we were running from the waves at the beach. We were clumsily clutching each others' hands while watching the sun go down. It was too perfect.. Well, that was a short dream that ended TOO soon. Soon after, we kind of lost contact because he had so many places to go during the summer. Eventually, I even felt awkward trying to call him because he hasn't tried calling me at all like he had before. It might be that I'm REALLY picky or maybe I've never encountered anyone else I like, but I've totally fallen head over heels for this guy. This depressed me a bit and I began seeking food as a sanctuary. I ate more than I usually did, and I felt too sad to go practice with my team. I knew I had put on a few unhealthy pounds, but I couldn't help it. It hit me the hardest when I discovered he found himself a girlfriend over the summer without officially breaking it off with me. I gained a whomping 15 pounds. I'm thinking, "GREAT! I'm heartbroken AND gaining unwanted weight. Can things get any worse?!" Well, now I'm trying to lose those excess pounds. Help.
