Hi i'm a female and i am 5'6 and i weigh about 238lbs i have been overweight since i was little and most of my family is overweight and i have struggled with it because i have a had a hard life and i was very depressed a few times and i'm conctantlygoing through changes. Anyways just this past summer i started dieting and excercising.Since i've started i lost about 40lbs because i used to wiegh about 278, and now i am trying to continue the weight loss and my goal is to lose an additional 60lbs by summer or so. Any tips or advice or other websites because i need all the help i can get.I would also like to know if anyone else is or has delt with this type of situation. Thanks, I greatly appreciate it.

Hey, there are LOTS of websites out there. Just google for them. has really motivated me w/ all the success stories. beside toneteen that someone else mentioned there is also fitteen.

hey Vina, that's awesome that you've lost weight!! Great job, and I would look into Weight Watchers. I do it and I absolutely love it. No food is off limits, and as long as you watch portions and get in some veggie and fruit servings and your dairy it's almost certain you'll lose weight. I do the online program, but you can also go to weekly meetings. (there are meetings EVERYWHERE, just go to the website to find one near you.) well anyways, good luck!
