Ht. 5'1", Start: 160 lb, Current: 174 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Okay, so i'm just experimenting with weight loss. I want to loose weight, but I don't think i can make the sacrifice. I love ice cream and pizza, and i'm not sure if im willing to loose those. I joined guard at school, but i ahve only seemed to gain weight. If anyone has any tips or anything, i would seriously appreciate it.

You said it yourself. You will need to sacrifice. Think about the definition of sacrifice (from dictionary.com):to surrender or give up, or permit injury or disadvantage to, for the sake of something else. You are giving up your favorite foods for the sake of a healthier body and life, and to look good in a bikini (or whatever the reason you want to lose weight is). Depending on your willpower, you can still have some SOMETIME. To start off with, reward yourself on Saturday IF AND ONLY IF you were good through the week with either one small bowl of icecream or one slice of pizza. If you cannot control your servings to one, then I would suggest not doing it at all. Good luck.

you absolutely can not lose the weight unless you really want it. just think about it...you'd live an extremely healthy lifestyle, you would look hot on the beach, you could wear anything you want to! you can even treat yourself to ice cream and pizza occasionally. Go for it!
