Ht. 5'10", Start: 413 lb, Today: 413 lb (BMI: 59), Goal: 250 lb - Hey everybody. My name is Richie and I'm seriously overweight and ready to drop some serious pounds. When I graduated from high school in 2008 I was the same height I am now and only 297, so I've put on 116 pounds in 3 years. I was always a fat kid, weighing 200 lbs in 7th grade and played football in high school, and ate big to play center. When football season ended I was 265. I go to college and work 40 hours a week as assistant manager at a restaurant. Everyone in my family is overweight and so is my girlfriend. Last week at work I squatted down to pick up something that dropped and my pants split all the way up the back (size 60). That incident made me take a step back n take a look at how fat I've gotten. I'm aslig for some advice from you all about how to start a diet. I've been trying to cut back on my intake since last week but it's tough. I love to eat and I get so hungry. Plus my family doesn't support me at all. Even worse, my girlfriend hose a big girl herself, tells me she loves me the way I am and I don't need to lose weight. Please, I need some advise! Thnaks.

Easy your way into a healthier lifestyle :) Baby steps is a big key when trying to change. It's not easy, that's for sure, but it is possible. I pinky promise! Something as small as walking one block everyday is awesome. Each week try to increase you're activity level. For example, walk for 15 minutes (3-4x a week), and then the following week shoot for 20 minutes. You can also start off by cutting back on some foods. For example sugar, by sugar I guess I mean pop. Cutting back on sugary drinks makes a HUGE difference. Trust me. Oh! Water is your best friend in weight loss. Drink tons and tons! I wrote a lot sorry! These are a few things that helped me get started. Just know it's possible. With goals, persistence, determinations, and most importantly PATIENCE. You can achieve your goal. You can do it! I know you Can! (:
