Ht. 5'6", Start: 188 lb, Today: 188 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 135 lb - Within the past week i've broken through the obesity ceiling. It hurts to say the least that I've lost such control. It seems within the past 5 years I have been sliding slowly away from my ideal fitness level. Sliding so slowly in fact that it never seemed to be of any urgent concern until lately, with news of moving to a new city. I'm somewhat recently graduated from high school and after next week i'll be leaving to live with a family member, in hopes to get a job and save up enough money to go to school in the fall. I want so badly to do better for myself, i.e. eat right, exercise, read more, you know, all that good stuff, so i'm pledging here, officially, to keep up with a new lifestyle, and lose the weight. 135lb is my goal! woohoo! Goals!! So now i'm off to the gym, right after the final round of wheel of fortune, and hope keep track of my progress. Possibly here?
Anyway, every post i've read here is a great reminder that we must not go at this alone. Thank you for biding with me!

You can do this, Marie!! I'm still in the fitness process. It's like I know what I need to do, but the motivation is so hard! Ugh! Anyway, I am determined to do better as well. I will get fit. I wish you luck with your weightloss/fitness and I hope you keep us all updated on your progress! It's a great encouragement to the rest of us.
