Ht. 5'3", Start: 212 lb, Today: 212 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 140 lb - I recently decided that I want to lose weight. I have tryed several times in the past but have trouble sticking to this new healthy lifestyle and constantly slip back into my old ways. Losing weight looks like a large and almost impossible task...but you can do it! Sometimes it's difficult to stick to a diet but there are ways around this. Try starting small. Make simple changes at first and gradually build up. Start working out for 30mins 3x a week...start eliminating sugary drinks...and from there, just up the ante! You'll find it feels more manageable. Also keep your goals small. Start by telling yourself that you want to lose 5lbs. It seems a lot easier. & once you do that, aim for 5 more...and keep going until you reach your target weight.
