We def can we are still young, but i see how hard my mom deals with my weight so i don't want to go through that with my future kids, i also don't want people to jugde me in the future when i'm looking for jobs on my weight but most importantly i want to finally love everything about me inside and out i'm starting too but this is a very long journey but hey lots of people have done it and i know we can do it too =) we're all strong so nothing is impossible =)

Hi Nini, welcome back! I've been on and off this site since about 15 as well. I wish I would've just been motivated back then....ah well =D. I can relate to where you're coming from though. When I came back to this site in 2008, I was the heaviest I'd ever been, 204. Reading posts from other people who were in the exact situations I found myself, and finding out how they overcame the obstacles in their weight-loss journey encouraged me to think that maybe I could too. It's a long, hard road (if you do it the right way), full of good and bad days, but watching yourself transform in a way you didn't think possible is absolutely amazing and so worth it.
By the way, I know sometimes posting on here without getting a response from anyone can be discouraging, but don't let that get you down. Even if none of us "vocalize" that we're there, listening, just know that we are. I can guarantee you that more than just myself read these posts and cheer when someone's reached a milestone and empathize when a few pounds were gained or family/friends don't seem to get it. We've all been there, and it's frustrating, but if you keep persevering, you're going to accomplish what you set out to accomplish.
