Andreas, I'm so relieved to hear you also have a 10 y/o over 400 - we're not alone, then! Our Sophie has turned 10 now, and is 434 lbs - but she's a little taller than your son, at 4'5. Mobility is similarly a bit of a struggle, but she manages around the house and out to the car. Her sister, Hannah, is 13 now and comfortably 490 lbs. She's a bit taller so it's easier for her to carry.

I hope he isn't sad anymore because his big brother doesn't have as much time for him. I see. I'm happy that Lane has a girlfriend. It's becoming more normal for teenagers to be bigger, I feel. I think my son might have a girlfriend in the near future too. He's met her a couple of times, but it's not official yet. She's a big girl, too.

He'll get over the fact that his brother doesn't have as much time anymore. How is he handling the weight? It's good to hear that your other son, Lane, can have a normal teenage experience with a girlfriend, etc., despite his size. I'm happy for him. If you don't mind me asking, is his girlfriend bigger, too?
