Weekend is almost here, and so is winter in our area. Do any of you have problems motivating for physical activity now that outside is getting cold and wet? I have tried and kind of succeeded in going for walks, doing garden stuff, washing the car and so on with the boys, but it is hard to motivate ourselves when the weather is freezing cold. What do you do in the spare time with your kids? Do you find it okay to accept more sedentary days this time of the year?

Hi. I think you should try to get the kids excited about activities. But you shouldn't force them. If it's too cold outside, forcing them won't be any fun. I think you should at least try to get the kids to visit friends. I will happily take him there. The main thing is that he doesn't stay in his room all the time. We just do activities inside instead. At this time of the year, you are just more likely to be sendantary.
