Hello,
I came here to look for advice. My son Ricardo Jr. used to be a very energetic boy, and was very active. He would always wake me up to go outside and play, which I didn't wan't to seeing as it is too early, but I would go reluctantly, wishing he we would stop. Well, I got my wish. Sometime between then and his 8th birthday, something happened. He just stopped all together. He wasn't as active and his appetite got huge. I let it slide and before I knew it, my once slim, fit, and healthy son became an extremely overweight couch potato. I've tried getting him back to his usual routine, but he doesn't want to do it. Bringing up his weight doesn't help either as he avoids it altogether. I just want my son back.
Thanks,
Teresa

Hello Teresa, has your son had a recent physical. If so has his pediatrician expressed concern about his weight? If not, your might want to schedule an appointment for your son for a "check up". Therm before the appointment, call the pediatrician and ask her/him to check your son's weight and fitness. Maybe hearing from the doctor will wake up your son. Btw, how tall is he and how much does he weigh?
