My daughter has always been a little chubby. When she left for her first year of college, she was about 160 and was about 5'3. When she came back she weighed about 180 because of snacking and stress eating. She said that she kind of liked being fat but not to much. After her second year, she weighed about 210. She was obviously fat then and we could tell. Her clothes didn't really fit and she would jiggle her belly in her room for a long time. We tried to talk to her but she would not listen. After her third and fourth year of college she was 300 lbs. She had to quite her job as a waitress because she could not stand for a long time without sitting down. Now she works an office job and snacks all day. Her current weight is 350 lbs and it keeps growing.I would like some advice please!

I'm not trying to make her lose weight. I'm just encouraging her but she wants to gain more weight and that scares me.

With all due respect, your daughter is 23. She is an adult capable of making her own decisions. While you can provide her with love and support, you cannot make her lose weight. She has to want to lose weight on her own first. Do not badger her about her weight either, as it will likely alienate her from you.
