My son is 20 years old and very overweight - around 140 kgs - 6 feet. He doesn't eat a lot - his friends that are skinny eat twice as much. I am sure it is a medical issue - something to do with insulin tolerance! Anybody with a success story to help me? Thanks

Does he also have any other problems? All I can think of is Prader-Wili syndrome. People who have a lower caloric need, and gain weight easily of they eat more. However, people with this disorder usually are constantly hunger and will eat nonstop if they have an opportunity to do so. A few have eaten until they died because they were unsupervised and their stomach burst. Also, people with this disorder will also often have (but not always) a lack of mental development. This probably isn't what is going on with your son, but that is all I can think of.
