Sorry for the double post, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with their child holding their belly?? My daughter holds her belly when she walks because her weight is carried there. She says its heavy and it helps to hold it. When she lays on her side she says she is uncomfortable with the way the fat rolls lay and overlap. She is also not used to her large bust size yet. Suggestions to make 282 pounds more comfortable?

You have to look at this from her perspective, your daughter weighs 282 lbs her ideal weight should be around 120-140 lbs depending on her height, lets say it's 140. If her ideal weight is 140 lbs then that means she is 142 lbs overweight! That's 142 lbs of fat that she has to carry around and live with everyday putting extra strain on her body making everyday tasks so much harder to do. Now imagine yourself carrying 2 bags one on your front and one on your back that weighs 142 lbs combined. How would you feel? If her clothes no longer fit take her shopping for bigger clothes that do fit, maternity/plus size clothing would be best. Some good shapewear would help smooth out her fat rolls and bulges and help alleviate her back pain, a back brace would also help for pain. As for the stretch marks I would recommend Palmer's Cocoa Butter as it's helped me alot with mine. You wouldn't believe how many stretch marks I had on my belly, arms, and thighs and Palmer's Cocoa Butter helped me alot, I still use it twice a day every day because I still have a couple stubborn stretch marks on my tummy. As for the best way to making 282 lbs more comfortable would be losing all the excess fat she has. Try cooking some healthy meals for her and eliminating all the fatty foods that made her fat in the first place. No more chips, soda, pizza, burgers, hotdogs, twinkies, donuts, cakes, cookies, etc. Some exercising would be great for her also but because of how overweight she is, she needs to take it slow and not overexert herself. Have her walk 5 minutes a day for 1 week then 10 minutes for her 2nd week and keep adding 10 minutes each week until she is able to walk an hour a day without getting winded. After she is able to walk an hour a day for a week, have her run for 5 minutes straight and walk the rest of the 55 minutes. Keep adding 5 minutes of extra run time every week. Have plenty of water available and let her rest if she has to. Now the most important thing is to love & support your daughter no matter what.

I am not sure how many rolls she has. Probably like 3 or 4 that I can see in the front when she sits. She says they are uncomfortable on top of each other. Her stomach isn't firm at all. Very flabby and jiggly,so it hangs pretty low around the zipper. I never really see it because she tries to hide, but she has bright red stretch marks all over the flab. I tell her not to hold it because it gets stares and pregnancy questions, but when she doesn't it hangs and hurts her back

Hi again, sorry to keep on replying but I thinl I can relate quite well to your daughter. I found that as I got bigger, I felt more and more uncomfortable. It has got to the stage that when I'm at home I only wear underwear because my clothes are so tight! I can totally relate to ur daughter because I hold my belly also when i walk. I think it helps because otherwise it pulls down. Just wondering, how many fat rolls does your daughter have and also does her belly hand down further than the zipper on her pants? A suggestion could be to wear pants meant for pregnant women and I know that this might be embarrassing but they are comfy and are made for the bigger belly?! Wuth regards sleep, I find laying on my back is easiest. It takes a bit of getting used tl but it's fine after then.
