@John- I'm afraid, if you're for real then you're honestly just kidding yourself. You've addressed neither the possibility of a physical cause or psychological cause for you daughters weigth gain, and so all of the sudden she's miraculous cured because she's done decent with a diet for a couple of days. This is GOING to have long term health effects whether psychological or physical, if you don't get this check out, if you really gave a crap about your daughter you would. It's not about just her losing the weight, it's about her overall health. That's like someone's child having a heart attack, then making a miraculous recovery and the parents refusing tests or treatment of any sort, because they're better NOW. But what about in the future when things get out of control again? Because if you don't address the issues now, there is about a 90% chance of that happening in a situation like your daughters. You're effectively going to watch her suffer, and for that you're a terribly cruel person.
