my daughter's the same. she's about the same size and age, if not bigger. her appetite is even bigger than your daughter's, though.

I really feel for you and your daughter. Im dealing with the same thing w/ my daughter but she is 6 and not as big yet. like i always say in my replys...self esteam first,be an example second, and knowlage third......
maybe there is a medical issue that makes her not feel full, have you ever asked the doctor for medical tests? That would be a good start, just remember to always make her feel beautiful and she will be ok. Big girl or not......

The situation is completely out of hand. I'm sorry, but you're the was your responsibility to guide your daughter in a healthy direction. This expectation was not met. Maybe you could limit her food intake. Do exercises WITH her...don't just tell her to do it. Make it a family effort.

Protip: you're the parent, buy healthier food, enforce portion control, don't give her so much money for lunch.

I go to a local store for his clothes called Warners, its been here for years tho (its not a chain). He doesn't have any trouble with bikini's ('cos hes a guy) but I can only ever find speedos in his size (which he finds incredibly embarassing)

My 13 year old (just turned that) has a similar problem and weight. What's your email? I'd love to chat with you at some point about our kid's shared problems.
