hi everyone. my daughter blake is 5'5 and 220 lbs. i took her to the doctor the other day because she was getting out of breath and her heart started racing sometimes. The doctor told us that it is because almost all of her fat is carried in her belly. He said that the size of her belly is the same as a morbid obese person. There is fat in all her organs and that is why her heart races. How can i help her??

Maybe she should do erobic exrsizes. if she practices more she won't have to breath so fast.

You took her to the doctor, he told you how serious your daughter's weight is, and he didn't give you any advice? I find that hard to believe.

Just watch what she eats. No junk, and make sure she eats a balanced diet. Counts her calories, and ask her doctor how many she should be eating everyday, because too few will cause her metabolism to slow down making it harder to lose weight and too many will make her gain. Make sure she's getting AT LEAST 30 to 60 minutes of exercise a day. Good luck to both of you! you'll be in my prayers.
