Try and have a talk with your child about what is going on at school or with friends etc. Many times it is stress or uncomfortable emotions that may be causing them to overeat. Having a healthy lifestyle yourself sets a good example. Try and get your child involved. Try setting a time when the both of you or the whole family can go for walks. Make it a fun activity for them. Also think about how your child is able to purchase fast food after school. Instead of giving money to them for chores, have them earn points for something they would really like to purchase. This way they will be working for something they earned and not spending money on fast food. Good luck.
