My son is six years old and he weighs 75 pounds he is short in height. My concern is that he does not eat a lot of food, but yet he is still gaining. His food consists of a lot of fruit in his diet and regular foods such as eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, brocolli, chicken, spaghetti. He doesnt eat a lot of fast or junk foods. If you have any suggestions please reply to my bulletin.

Hi! Does your child eat just at your planned meals and snacks? or, does he eat here and there, kind of lots of little snacks (that may add up)? Also, is he active? Check out this book by Ellyn Satter "Helping without harming"...it is a book about helping your overweight child and Ellyn is a dietitian and therapist. She also has a website, ellynsatter.com
I hope this helps!
