I am having a problem my daughter is too big to fit in the little girls clothes but too small for the juniors clothes. I cannot find any plus size for little girls in my area. Any suggestions as to where to look. She is 4 feet 6 inches and weighs around 105 lbs. She is still developing and her belly is large making it difficult for any of the pants to fit and most of the shirts make her belly look huge. She is on sterrhoids a lot due to asthma, so she can gain weight rapidly but she loses it after she goes off the medicine so I really would prefer jeans with an elastic waist (very hard to find here in any size). Any suggestions?

Walmart used to carry them, its limited now, JcPenny's and Sears both carry them. You can order them from their catalogs also. I really like JcPenny's plus size for my daughter. Although her favorite jeans came from Sears this time.

We had good luck with plus size pants at Gap and Gap.com. Gap.com has more choices than the store itself. The plus sizes have an unseen elastic adjustable waist, often making the waist size potentially quite large, but the length is still proportionate to what a child needs. I think Old Navy may have them too. Our daughter was in the plus sizes for 2 or 3 years, then better diet, good exercise, and growth has slimmed her out, put her into small jr sizes, and most importantly improved her self concept. Hang in there. Good role modelling is essential.
