I have a four year old son who is overweight. He weighs 65lbs and I am about at my wits end trying to find clothes to fit him. He wears an 8 and his little legs are only 17 inches long so the jeans are about a foot to long. I can sew them but I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to buy jeans to fit chubby little guys. Just cutting down a pair of jeans doesn't make them fit comfortably. I am sick of hemming sweat pants!!! HELP!!!!

I have that very same problem. I get the jeans or pants to fit in the waste then the legs are too long. I have been buying pants from JC Penny because you can actually get a shorter length like a 30/25 or something like that.

Sory to tell you this, but our two boys were as big as your son when they were his age. We found the only alternative to cut-down sweatpants was to have clothes specicially made by a seamstress. It was way too much money, especially since all boys grow so fast at that age (upwards and outwards). So, cut-down sweatpants it was.
