hi guys. When my I first posted here my daughter was nearing 400 and now im happy to say shes down to 302. Shes still quite large, but still its a big improvement and really makes a big deal to her. She now tries to get up early and jog every morning. She doesnt make it up everymorning but its such an improvment from staying in bed untill 1 pm and doing nothing. With youalls encouagment iv got her hyped on working out and I told her that if she gets down to 200 she can have a BMW so shes really into it. Any advice about diets would still help also activities that she can do by herself because she really is to embarressed to go to a weightloss program and admit to everybody that she is obese. Anyways thanks.
,vincent

You can't force your Child to exersize or do anything they don't want to. You can limit time spent on the computer or watching TV. Try and find some cool music your kids like and ask them to do an aerobic workout with the music on. Try and eat healthy foods most of the time and don't eat fast food if you can avoid it. also try to talk to your child and make them aware that there are health risks associated with being over weight. Hope this helps!

WEIGHT WATCHERS! its confidential, and she would be with people that have the same problem! Im only 13 if ur daughters worried about people knowing she does it, think about how i feel! Im still in Jr. High! i cant just be like "yeah i went to weight watchers last night!" besides, no one has to know she does it. ive lost 11 lbs so far on it. its GREAT!

Yea she does have a certin amout of pride because of her sister and how she is always compared to her. She is accualy quite tall(5'11) and after loosing about 100 lbs she looks, as she likes to put it, "acceptable." There is no way that I could get her to go admit to people that she is accualy obese because she argues with me even when im getting her up off the couch onto the tredmill. But really the exta 100 lbs really took away from her appearence. Her face pretty much lost its second chin and her belly is much smaller and doesnt hang out of all her outfits like it did 1 year ago. Her bottom half is still very big but she says shes working on it so I dont feel the need to push her to embarress herself infront of alot of other people.
thanks, Vincent

she cant admit she is obese? she is 300 pounds. she might not be able to admit it, but everyone who isnt blind knows she is morbidly obese. she needs to get a grip on reality and swallow her "pride"
