Take a chill pill many of the teens on the parents board are accepted and DO help parents. I think they help better because they are overweight themselves and they can give advice on what they are doing!

well, im 13 yrs old and going through the same problems as your daughter and i've helped many parents on this site. Most of the kids on this parents board that just wanna help come from mostly the teens board that went through the same problem and just want to help these parents children get through their issues. im sure that the kids that are giving you advice for your daughter have experienced the same problems.

True most parents don't pay attention to what their kids through in the cart when they are shopping or maybe they don't even pay attention to what they eat. I have been helping my daughter deal with her weight issue for quit a while. She has to deal with it at school and at home because the children in the world seem to have excellent parents who seem to make it a hobby to teach their children how to pick on the overweight children in this world. I have gone through my kitchen and cleaned it out and now my daughter eats nothing but healthy food. And I have to tell you some of the parents on this website are as cruel as the children are at my daughters school when it comes down to describing their overweight children.I have read through this site and sometimes I find girls who are or have dealt with my daughters situation and I let my daughter read what they have to say. Their stories inspire my daughter and make her feel like if that person can do it so can I. But this little girl who has probably been thin since day one,has nothing to offer my little girl or any of the other parents children to boost up their self esteem. If she was hurt or maybe you were not happy with what I had to tell her than I guess you two or who ever else did not like what I said to will just have to deal. Sorry but that is just how I feel. If I am going to take advise from a child, it would have to be from a child who has experience exactly what my baby is going through!
