I am very concerned about 2 of my 3 children. I have a 9 year old who is a stick... and then I have a 7 year old who weighs about 110lbs and a 5 year old who weighs about 95lbs. I am not sure how much they should weigh or what I should try to get them down to. I don't know if I should just leave it alone and watch what they eat or what. Please help

Hello, my daughter is 7 yrs old and weighs 140pds. Currently she has no health problems, although that could change at any time. My doctor says she cannot gain anymore weight for 3 years! She has a great personality and a big heart, she loves to try to make friends but nobody will talk to her because of her weight. She hangs out with me and my husband. She dreads school because everytime she comes home she is in tears about people teasing her. Recently I started walking with her and talking to her and letting her know just be yourself if nobody wants to talk to you that is there loss of a good friend. I try to keep her self esteem. I thought I was fighting this battle alone but I see there are alot of parents experiencing the same thing. Hang in there. If anyone would like to email me please do so janette_cpr@yahoo.com. Thanks

i suggest don't worry! just make sure they don't gain to much weight untill they hit there tween years because lets say they grow and maybe gain some weight and wind up being 120 their height would even out and could be like 5' 4" which would be healthy or even 5' and be on the verge of being overweight (i think)
