I really do not understand why people replied telling you to let you daughter keep eating. No offense, but that is the last thing she needs at 450 lbs. No young woman should weigh 230 lbs, let alone 450. Since she is unable to move, I would consider surgery. Her extra 300 lbs are quite a burden. I can't even lift 300 lbs.

I believe the best move is to take her to a bariatric clinic for an evaluation. However, before they do gastric bypass surgery or the lap-band she will have to begin some sort of small exercise routine and go on a high protein diet. She sounds very angry too...perhaps she can visit a psychiatrist/psychologist...the weight maybe an outward expression of her depression i.e. pushing people farther and father away so she doesn't have to work on what's really causing her all the pain.
