hi my child is 14 years old and she is overweight. she weighs 156lbs today. i am proud of her for loosing about 16 since january,but i want her to be proud of her body. so does anyone out there know how i can motivate her over the summer to loose weight. like i don't know what to tell her. thanks for the help :)

Also, don't dwell on her being on a diet all the time. Oh yeah, try not to eat out all the time... or if you do encourage her to get a salad.

My son enjoys doing it with me. If she gets firmer, she will feel better about her body, even with the extra weight, and it will help her to lose.
