well i recently took my daughter to a dietician who was very helpfull. my daughter is about 18lbs overweight and i have been trying to get her to eat healthy and excersize for 2 years but unknown to me she was secretly eating but after i sat her down and told her how worried i was and that it was making all her family lose sleep she agreed to try hard i promised she would not be hungry and the dietician suggested allowing her one takeaway a week and 20p to spend on sweets 3 times a week she is allowed one pkt of crisps a day otherwize lots of veg in her main meal and i prepare a packed lunch for school . every evening irrelevant of weather she is going out with her friends she does 20mins on her dance mat(excellent excersize for kids)so far she has lost 5lbs and i have told her for every 2lbs she loses i will treat her to a day horseriding or icescating or something simular. i can recomend a visit to a dietician who supply u with good ideas and made me reliaze i was being to strict.
