Hello everyone, i am a mother of 3 children ages 14, 16 and 21 the problem is my 16 year old daughter she has always been a large girl but within the last 2 years she has become extremely fat and within the last year she has been having health problems she won't admit this but i can see that she is not comfortable in her own body its hard for her to walk and climb stairs and she is always out of breath and i can see that she is not able to sit proper anymore because of her stomack wich is enormous. I am wery woried abour her she used to be a very beautiful girl even though she was a little plump but her looks are ruined because of the weight and you can't see her pretty face anymore because of the triple chin and blown up cheeks. I don't know how much she weighs because she wont let me weigh her but i guess that she very obese she has no freinds and all she does is sit on the couch and watch telly i try and stimulate her to eat healthy and she will for a week or so and then she will give up and stuff herself again. I know she gets teased about her weight last week we went to the shops and she was walking ahead and two guys were staring at her and laughing and on guy said look how fat that girl is with all that blubber wobling about that's discusting thank god she didn't hear it but when i came home i cried for about an hour in my room please help me my daughter is such a lovely person and i can't stand to see her get any bigger.

I'm a sixteen year old girl and i want all of you parents that have an overweight child to listen please. Your childrens health should be first on your mind, not their feelings, you need to confront your children and tell them that what they are doing is hurting their bodies. It's called tough love and you need to tak action b/c if you don't more problems can result from more eating. INstead of McDonnalds try subway, and instead of chocolate or candy snacks try other things, it may sound horrible but thats how i was raised, my parents hardly let me have candy and im glad now because im confident in how i look, and even more importantly im a more confidant person in general

Get rid of all the junk food in your house and buy fruits for snacks. drink water 'stead of soda and drink a big glass of water before every meal. cut some off (like half or third) of everything she eats and save it for later. get lowfat puddins and sugarfree candy. take walks with yuor daughter every day. Find fun stuff for her to do for exercise like tap dancin, and try hobbies like a garden and needle pointin. get her a pet like maybe a dog or a bird. if your overweight to then maybe change your diet to and lose together. get fat free sugar free stuff for comfort foods like lowfat soup and yogurt. tell your daughter to come to the new chat room on this site. its cool adn we share like tips and stuff.
