My daughter has been overweight since she was two. She had her tonsils out, then started an upward climb. She doesn't really eat a lot, and she does get out to play everyday, running, riding bikes ect. She is approx. four feet tall and weighs approx. 90 lbs. I've tried just about everything, anyone have something new to try? She has a brother, 22 months younger, he is probably underweight. He is a little more active then she is, but she does her best to keep up with him.(she tires some what quicker then he) We have been to nutrition counciling, and the doctor. I don't want her to go to kindergarten this fall and be teased like I did.

Hi, my son Adrien had his tonsils out at 2 years old also. He doubled his weight 2 years in a row, and kept a steady weight gain. He now weighs 180lbs. Watch her now, and try to control it, it's a nightmare the older they get. You can't imagine the feeling you get the first time they come home crying about being teased at school, and it never gets easier. Kids are cruel, don't let her weight get out of control.
