I have 2 daughters 7 and 9 that have a hard time finding clothes. They are in the 95th percentile for their height. I consider them "pleasingly" plump-mostly baby fat. I am significantly overweight and am trying to lose it while teaching them healthy eating habits. Adult clothes are too big or too old in style. Most stuff off the rack is for the skinny minis out there. I have been using search engines without a lot of luck.

My child is exactly like that, she weighs 354 and she loves it. She says shed rather die happy and fat, then die sad and skinny. I dont believe how a child can be like that. Swimming is her favorite sport. Im almost embarresed to take her. She always finishes last in races, and it dosnt bother her. Write me sometime at pblr333!!!

My daughters are both extremely tall. And if I buy the dresses large enough for length, they fall off the shoulders.
I have found a line called My Michelle found in TJ Max & Marshalls that works really well.
I have also found that Jordache jeans seem to have the room both in length and height I need. And for some reason, overalls work good too, more room for the extra padding in the belly and long & adjustable !
Winter clothes are easier because of sweaters and the long skirts that are out there.
But I dont know what to tell you about blouses & shirts... we have had some luck with the Children's place shirts being long enough and not too snug. Depends on the child's weight.
And believe it or not, Wallmart even has t'shirts in the summer that work out pretty well.
I still havent solved the shorts ordeal...
