Ht. 5'6, Wt. 195 - Hi, my name is Courtnie, and I am a new member to this "club" me and my family just started a diet the other night, and I keep track to everything I eat, and how many calories or in my food or drinks, and I'm gonna start goin to the gym at least 4 times a week, but I'm trying to loose 35 lbs. by April 15th...and my grandparents say its impossible, and I really would like to loose that much because it's my birthday dinner and we have to get all dressed up fancy and stuff, so if anyone could give me any advice on what to do id really apperciate it... and if you could tell me its possible or not that would be apperciated too. thanks!

i think that ur goal is totally obtainable.. just stick wit it. and after u reach ur goal keep wit it.. just bc uve reached it doesnt mean it wont come back.. im trying to lose 10 lbs by feb 14 so i would recommend exercising and eating right.. dont be so strict that u dont want to do it anymore.. and dont deprive urself of cals.. have enough a day and u should be fine GOOD LUCK!!!

you can do it! make sure your heart rate isn't too high or else you'll just be burning sugar. Slow and steady wins the race. also, try and limit your intake on salt. prove your grandparents wrong. what i do when i get tempted is go into my room listen to music and visulize what i'll soon look like.

Limit all sweets if possible. Lots and lots and lots of water. I go to the gym 5 times a week for about an hour and a half. I do all cardio equipment... aka stair stepper, bike, treadmill, eliptical. Do them for long periods of time... don't do 5 minutes of each. You have to keep your heart rate up to burn fat and calories. Right now I'm hooked on Carrots and Fat free ranch. Also Yogurt is good too... you must get lite yogurt though. Carb concious would be helpful too. if you need and help or advice my aol sn is heatha0306... good luck :)
