Ht. 5'6, Wt. 167 - okay im confused. Ive been working otu everyday for the past three weeks and i was wondering why i havnt been losing as much weight as i should be. I'm eating healthy, and going up to the Rec Center for an hour and a half doing 15 minute bike, 25 minute elliptical and 15 minute arc trainer, and the rest of the time machines(like lifting and abs and stuff). Am i gaining muscle???? cuz id rather see the numbers go down than to honestly tone my body. i hope u guys understand what im trying to say. but yeh what do u think?

I already drink 4 bottles of water a day, so i dont think thats the issue. A normal day of eating for me is a dannon 70 calorie smoothie for breakfast, a turkey on wheat sandwich at lunch, 5 carrots, and 9 mini whole grain rice cakes. for dinner i usually eat normal food but it small portions. and then i have a 10 calorie popsical for a snack. yeh so im not sure

I deffinitly know how discouraging it must be to not see that scale budge. You could be gaining muscle. What exactily are you eating though? What is a normal day of eating for you? Sometimes the more you exercise and lift weights, the hungerier you are.

try drinkin more water u could be retaining a lot of salt and water, and drinkin more water gets that out, u can drop 1-4 lbs just by drinkin more water
