Ht. 5'8, Wt. 179 - right how long do you think it will take me to lose 20lbs if i: eat 1500 cals per day, 2litres of water exercise 6 times a week - 40min cardio 100sit ups and weights? Please help! lol

1. go to a website and calculate the calories you burn in a day.2. After that, then determine how many calories you will burn a week in exercise with another website.3. there are 3600 calories in a pound, so add the number of calories you will burn by cutting calories (ex, if you burn 2050 a day and you cut down to 1500, then you lose 550 a day) to the number you will burn a day in exercise (ex: a 6 mile run at a 10 min/mile pace is around 100 cal/h and if you do this for 6 miles you'll burn a little over 600 calories) and you'll get your daily calorie loss. Divide this number by 3600, and you'll get how many days it will take you. Your water intake doesn't matter with this -- just remeber, if you don't drink enough, you'll retain water and gain water weight.

well assuming that 1500 cals a day is about 500 cals less than you would normally eat in a day including the exercise you'd lose about 1-2 lbs a week probs more in the 1st and 2nd week!! hope tht helps :) x
