Ht. 5'7, Wt. 225 - ok i go to an all girls school. it's really hard to see all my friends go shopping downtown and go to stores that no longer carry my size. i'm tired of being overweight so i'm joining swimteam. they practice 2 hours a day 5 days a week. i'm really excited but then i realized i'll only be burning like 1000 calories that means to lose weight i have to only eat 1000 calories. i was anorexic for a little while and dropped 3 sizes and lost 25 lbs. it was really hard and i got really sick so i am really interested in losing weight quickly and SAFELY...anyone in my situation want to exchange e-mails so we can talk everyday about what has happened that day and have eachother when we feel fat?

if youre burning 1000 calories from swimming, and add that to the amount you lose just by living (I looked yours up, and it's about 1800/day) , you'll actually be burnig about 2800 calories a day.

If you're exercising that much, you should eat about 2500 calories to maintain, and 1500-2000 to lose. Eating only 1000 isn't enough. <3Rach*
