Ht. 5'1, Wt. 175 - on monday at school our PE class is going to walk or run w/e one u want a mile... should i walk it ? or run a while or what ?

not to change the subject or anything but u have to rin it in at least 15 minutes
WOWOWOWOWOW at our skool u have to be able to run it in at least 9 minutes !! In 10 th grade i ran the mile in exactly 9 minutes but this year i ran it in 7:04 and i am overweight

in my school you have to run it in like 12 minutes and in highschool you have to do the super duper mile which is run around the track once then up and down and up and down the bleachers stairs then do these weird windbreaker type things lol and like if i were you i would walk a little then try running and if you run out of breath just try jogging and if your still out of breath just walk a little then so on stuff like that

yea im doin tha mile in school now..i run the whole thing but slowly..just pace urself. and if u get tired speed walk for sum...i honestly hate tha mile run..but oh well

Run as much of it as u can. At my school u just have to run it in 15 minutes....so u really just have to fast walk.

Run as much of it as you can. If you need to walk to catch your breath, do so, then continue running.

jog, walk, jog, walk, etc. it keeps your mscles pumping which burns more calories and gives you a break.
