Ht. 5.5, Wt. 148 - how can u take in only 1 200 cals when you are still growing, won't that stunt your growth?

If you have in doubt about the nutrition you are getting, you should take some kind of supplement.

Yes...it depends. If everything you eat is nutrient dense, then you may be able to sqeeze all your nutrients in 1200 cal. But if you eat certain snacks that really do nothing for you nutritionally, then you have to eat more calories to get all the food you need. As teens we're all growing and to lose weight we can't ignore the fact that we still need food as nutrients. That's why we have to cut out junk food to save calories instead of things like milk, etc...
