is it ok if every few weeks you have a day where you up your calorie intake?? i heard this could be good for your matabolism.. get it going again. like if you usually eat 1200 calories a day...... maybe like once every few weeks, would it be beneficial to eat 2200 calories? thanks!!

no i dont think so it'll prob mess it up, eat small and often 2 rev up ur metabolism but kp in a calorie count of 1200-1500 insted of makin drastic changes

yes, that is a perfect idea. Lots of diets suggest you do that, called zigzag calories or something like that. But you can do it more often!! Not so durastic, but still. You are basically confusing your metabolism. It can knwo how many calories you take in when you consume them, so it bases itself on the last few days. So, if you normally eat 1300cal lets say, and then one day you eat 2000, then a few days after that your metabolism will see, oh she normally eats 2000cl, so i need to work this hard, or whatever. And by that time you are back to 1300cl, so you lose weight that way! good luck! hope my explanation made sense!!

No, because when you go on a diet your body ajusts to burning less calories!
