If you eat 2,000 calories a day and excorcice will you lose weight? or if you start out eating 2,000 calories andthen you take 100 calories away each day until you get down to 1,000 calories would that be good?

For your age you should not go below a 1,200 calorie diet a day. Just remember, if you want to lose weight, eat healthy and exercise enough to burn more calories than you eat.

NO LINDSAY!!!!!! NO NO NO NO NO! you have to eat between 1200 and 1500 cals a day. not 200 if that is what u meant

well, whatever you do, NEVER go below 1200. it slows ur matabolism and stalls weight loss

yes it's true. I don't know if you were just posting the 100 as an example but if you exerise 500 you'll lose a pound a week and if you don't try it for a few weeks and if you still don't then you need, i guess, to eat or exerise more. But remember everyone is different so it could or couldn't work for you. Heck you might eat 2000 and exerise 500 a day and by the end of the week lose 5 pounds (don't y'll wish that really could happen and eat 2000 calories?)
